Branding, Social Media, Illustration, Print Assets, Merch, & Event Graphics

Heal Los Angeles Foundation is on a mission to improve the lives of young people in Greater Los Angeles by creating impactful programs that will help them pursue their dreams while building fundamental life skills. My responsibility at Sawyer Agency is to brand the different programs and create impactful social media, print collateral, merch, and event graphics.

This is Thriller Night

“This is Thriller Night” explores a playful horror style, contrasting the classic blood drip with the vibrant neon of the Palace Theatre venue where the event takes place. We rolled out the blood red carpet for this campaign. It featured a robust social media presence to activate the Jackson fan base and give sneak previews for the big night. A designed a special slide background that looked great on the big screen. Custom keepsakes included T-shirts, Members only jackets, and towels. I recreated the big Thriller sign from the film, and you guessed it, I drew up the Palace Theatre marquee as a vector for crisp scaling.

Making Time for Big Ideas

It took a mountain of organizational approaches to satisfy the quick turnarounds demanded by large-scale events. I did this by maintaining strategic pockets of time within my work schedule for last-minute needs. This freed me up to tackle exciting but ambitious concepts, like this custom map of the Hayvenhurst Grounds for Thriller Night.

While programs like “This is Thriller Night” explore a playful horror style, programs like Ambassadors, Power Up, S.M.I.L.E, and King of Popcorn movie night are vibrant and fun.
